Rant of the Day :: 18?!
Perhaps you have seen the television show featuring the family in Arkansas that has, until recently, 17 children. The reason I say “until recently” is because they just had their 18th! Seriously, I can’t tell you on how many levels this bothers me.
In 1980, the year I was born, the World’s population was 4,453,831,714, the current population is at 6,602,224,175 and...

I saw Milk today. I recommend everyone see this movie. You probably know it as “the movie about the gay politician”, but it’s much more than that. It’s a movie about humanity and the mistakes we have made in the past. However, it’s sad to think that the events the movie is based on took place over 30 years ago, and we are still making these same mistakes with things...
One of my favorite producers of all time, Khonnor, is finally coming out with a new album called Softbo. Although it’s only an EP it does have 9 tracks. One of the tracks from the album titled “Calico Dong Veil” is available for free download now over at XLR8R. It’s a small preview into what I hope will live up to my expectations.
My views on photography as an art form varies. There are too many people out there who purchase a digital SLR, round up some of their attention-starved Myspace friends, take photos of them all “Maxim style” topless while holding their boobs, Photoshop the shit out of the photos and then call themselves photographers. This to me is not art, it’s vanity and ego massaging. But...
I came across “What I Saw Today”, the blog of Richard Haines, and thought it was pretty interesting. He basically uses his love of people watching and his eye for design to sketch and record the well dressed people of NYC. This is his blog’s description in his words…
“New York is an endless runway. Watching people is as compelling today as it was when I first moved...
Best 100 Movies of 2008?
I think nearly everyone can agree that 2008 was pretty much full of shitty movies, and very little good movies. I can’t remember a year in my life when I was so dissatisfied with cinema. However, there are always movies that are released that go overlooked and undiscovered. I came across a list today that Times Online has released. It is what they consider to be the “Best 100 Movies if...
